Stepping Into Your Transformational Agency (SITA)

Be a Confident Change Leader and Practitioner

July 10-11 & 17-18, 2025

Overview

In this workshop, you will explore how to embrace and work with the inevitable destabilization and uncertainty of change, tap into your transformational agency and find individual and organizational renewal during times of upheaval. We are offering this workshop online or in-person in Hamburg, Germany.

You will have the opportunity to apply Gisela Wendling's groundbreaking Liminal Pathways Change Framework™ to a current change challenge and explore the transformational capabilities you already possess and those you wish to develop using The Change Maker’s Spindle—her new competency model and assessment tool.

You are invited to bring a change challenge to ground the learning in real-time situations. Coming together with a select group of change leaders and practitioners allows everyone to experience deep learning through well-facilitated explorations of ideas, cases, practices and each other’s change challenges.

And, to deepen your learning, Gisela will be offering an exclusive coaching package. Gisela has created these tools to empower change leaders and guides to fully activate their transformational agency.

You will receive a printed copy of The Liminal Pathways Study and a comprehensive workbook to support your learning in the workshop.

About Liminal Pathways

With more than 30 years of professional practice, Gisela Wendling, Ph.D., has developed a successful methodology and framework for working with transformational change that is now central to The Grove’s approach. Practitioners across continents have been using the Wendling Liminal Pathways Change Framework™ for nearly two decades, and it is reaching an increasingly wider audience.

In 2018, she co-authored Visual Consulting: Designing and Leading Change with David Sibbet. This book outlines The Grove’s practical approach to organizational-change work, integrating her Liminal Pathways Change Framework™ with the Theory of Process that underpins all of The Grove’s methods into the Seven Challenges of Change™ model.

In 2023, Gisela Wendling published The Liminal Pathways Study, which highlights the efficacy and benefits of the framework and examines how change agents have applied it across a wide range of personal, professional, and organizational contexts. The ideas and insights presented provide a much-needed understanding of what truly occurs during change.

Her deep appreciation of the true challenge of engaging with the unknown—the liminal phase between what has been and what will be—has led her to develop The Change Maker’s Spindle, a competency model and assessment tool for change leaders and practitioners.

“I am filled with gratitude for the excellence you brought to your teaching and facilitation. More than just slides and exercises, I learned from your grace and demeanor throughout the workshop. You created a beautiful, inclusive, non-judgmental space, and it was my joy to observe and learn from your example.”

Kerry Engler
President at Learning Through Change Inc.

“As a change leader, it is my role to create structures (or crucibles) that allow people to transform whatever energy they bring to a change from one state to the next on their way to acceptance. When using the Liminal Pathways Change Framework, people no longer need to be managed through a change, but instead, are given the scaffolding to make their own way.”
