In a results-driven organization, leaders often prioritize short-term outputs over long-term investments that build strong, sustainable teams. What happens when team cohesion, goal clarity or communication suffer as a result?

Teams need a stable and solid platform in order to make the turn into implementation and high performance. Join Grove Senior Consultant Joran Oppelt in this workshop that helps managers and team leaders navigate the tension between immediate performance demands and the deeper, human work of team development.

If the building blocks of teamwork are neglected in the rush to implementation, long-term results may be compromised. This workshop explores how to communicate the benefits of team investment to leaders so they can understand the need for trust, personal accountability, clarity across functional differences, and creativity in uncertain times. 

Participants will explore how to create organizational commitments and determine what to do when resources are denied or priorities are reset—even when time is short, the climate is uncertain and pressure is high.

He has helped enterprise clients shape strategy in the technology, sport, healthcare and finance industries.

He is a master facilitator who has helped shape strategies in technology, finance, software, sport and healthcare. He holds certifications in coaching, design thinking and virtual facilitation.

He is the author of Facilitation: A Human-Centered Guide to the Art of Collaboration, Visionary Leadership, and The Visual Meetings Field Guide.
